The COVID-19 has up-heaved innumerable lives worldwide as the health system buckled up leading to closure of businesses and other sectors thereby affecting the economic condition of all the individuals and different stakeholders. One of the majorly affected stakeholders were the international students across the globe who migrated for education to different countries.On 22nd March 2020,the Hindu Youth Australia-Adelaide, South Australia (HYA-SA), the youth wing of Vishva Hindu Parishad of Australia Inc.realized that there were a lot of international students who were facing difficulties and were badly affected due to COVID-19 crisis. It stepped forward and took responsibility to cater to the basic needs of affected international students by supplying free grocery survival kits and food essentials which included flour,rice,pulses,vegetables,fruits,cooking oil, bread,etc.
